Shane Elliott achieves appeal success two days in a row

This week our Shane Elliott has achieved great success for his clients in the District Court.

Shane appeared as Solicitor Advocate for two clients appealing against their penalties imposed in the Magistrates Court.

Appeal #1 - Shane successfully reduced both the licence disqualification period and the fine imposed by the Magistrate, and received costs for his client.

Appeal #2 - Shane successfully argued that the fine imposed on his client for a Failing to Report offence was too severe, and it was reduced significantly by the Judge presiding over the Appeal.

Shane is an experienced advocate who fights every day to protect his clients’ best interests, and to ensure that any penalty imposed is just and fair in the circumstances. Given that experience and success rate, many clients turn to Shane for his advice, and ultimately representation, when questioning the penalty that was imposed at first instance.
