No Conviction Recorded for drug possession – Brisbane Magistrates Court

Our client was charged with possession of cocaine. The charge carries a maximum of twenty (20) years imprisonment. These matters were heard in the Brisbane Magistrates Court.
Given our client’s personal circumstances, and after negotiations with Prosecution, our client was dealt with by way of a good behaviour bond with drug diversion. Most importantly for our client, the result ensured no conviction recorded and as a result would not prohibit him from travelling overseas for business.
